Affiliate disclosure

Chart Cruises participates in affiliate programs. When you click a booking link and complete a reservation through one of our partners, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. These commissions help support the site. The commissions we receive do not influence which cruises we show, the prices displayed, or the order in which results appear — all sailing data and pricing comes directly from Cruisebound.

No cookies

Chart Cruises does not set any cookies. We do not use cookie-based tracking, session cookies, or third-party advertising cookies.

Theme preference

If you choose the light or dark theme with the button in the header, that choice is saved in your browser’s localStorage under the key theme, so the site looks the way you left it next time. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. Choosing the system theme removes it, and clearing your browser’s site data does too.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service. Plausible does not collect personal data, does not use cookies, and is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. All data is aggregated — no individual visitors are tracked.

When you click a booking link on Chart Cruises, you are redirected through Impact.com, our affiliate tracking partner. This redirect is server-side — no tracking cookies are set in your browser. Impact.com may log the click on their servers to attribute commissions. We earn a commission when you complete a booking through these links at no additional cost to you.

Hosting

Chart Cruises is hosted on DigitalOcean App Platform. Standard server access logs (IP address, request URL, timestamp) are collected by the hosting infrastructure for operational purposes. We do not use these logs for tracking or analytics.

Third-party services

Fonts, scripts and map data are served from our own server; nothing is loaded from a third-party CDN. The only outside script is Plausible’s, described above.

Data we collect

None. Chart Cruises has no user accounts, no sign-up forms, no email collection, and no personal data storage.
