About Chart Cruises

What it is

Chart Cruises is a free interactive globe that maps every one-way and repositioning cruise. Instead of paging through list views filtered by destination, you see all available voyages at once — each route drawn as a line across the actual ocean it sails.

Why it exists

One-way cruises are one of the best values in travel, but they're hard to find. Most booking sites bury them inside round-trip search flows or treat them as an afterthought. Chart Cruises flips that: the globe is the search. Click a line, see the cruises that sail it; click a port, see where you can sail to from there.

How it works

Sailing data comes from Cruisebound and is refreshed on a regular schedule. Port coordinates, sea routes, and itineraries are computed server-side so the globe can render responsively in the browser. All pricing and booking flows go through Cruisebound — Chart Cruises is a discovery layer, not a booking platform.

Who it's for

Cruisers who prefer ocean crossings over round-trips, travelers who like to pick a vessel and see where it's going, and anyone curious about the global movement of cruise ships between seasonal homeports.

Who's behind it

Chart Cruises is an independent project. The code is open source on GitHub. Feedback and bug reports are welcome via the repository.
